“Its official, our next movie will star Robin Padilla & Maria Ozawa. Here we go! #mmff2015,” said Troy, referring to the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival.
According to PEP contributor Mell Navarro, the proposed project is titled Nilalang, and is an action/suspense/thriller movie. The film will be produced by Haunted Tower Pictures, Inc., which recently produced Binhi (The Seed), which starred Mercedes Cabral and Joem Bascon, among others.

Maria dismayed by Robin’s decision to withdraw from movie project 10 days before the start of their shooting. 
Japanese actress Maria Ozawa calmed down after Robin Padilla’s camp announced that the actor would be withdrawing from the Metro Manila Film Festival 2015 entry Nilalang .
Maria called Robin “unprofessional” for withdrawing from their movie project, ten days before the film’s shooting began.
The Japanese actress hit back in her Instagram post on Tuesday night, August 11: “It’s not that I really wanted to film w/ Robin, but I think it was so unprofessional of him to call it off 10 days before the shooting starts.
“I feel so sorry for the film, director’s, staff..etc.”
In an official statement released by Robin’s camp yesterday, August 11, the action star allegedly chose to step back from the project to take care of his wife, Mariel Rodriguez, who is currently pregnant.
Maria’s Instagram followers are divided on the issue.
In a comment, a netizen defended Robin and said that Robin should not be called “unprofessional” because the actor only did what was right because his priority was his family.
Maria answered this.
The former adult-video actress stated that Robin should have said from the beginning that he was backing out and not waited to say when shooting was about to begin, and not put the staff and crew of the production team in jeopardy.
