Cristy is aiming for Darryl Yap’s Pepsi Paloma: What do you want, kill Bossing?

Cristy contradicts Darryl Yap: What do you want, destroy Bossing?

Veteran host and entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin has also spoken about the movie “The Rapists of Pepsi Paloma” by Director Darryl Yap.

Nanay Cristy directly stated that she is against filming the controversial life of the late sexy star of the 80s, Pepsi Paloma.

In the episode of “Showbiz Now Na” last Sunday, January 5, the veteran writer and radio-online host mentioned that he does not support the director’s new film.

“I enjoy his attacks from time to time. But this time, you’re not including me in what you want to show off.”

“What do you want, Direk Darryl? To destroy Bossing Vic Sotto because of the success of ‘The Kingdom?’” said Nanay Cristy.

He continued, “Even though you are fellow citizens in Olongapo, you know nothing. What did I tell you? Why do you have to do this? What is your goal?”

The award-winning showbiz columnist believes that there are limitations to doing projects like “The Rapists of Pepsi Paloma” especially if there are people who will be hurt and put in danger. “We have something called respect for our neighbors. It should still be there. It is not missing,” said Nanay Cristy.

The released teaser of “The Rapists of Pepsi Paloma” is still hotly debated on social media — some are against the production of a Pepsi biopic but others side with Director Darryl.

One of those who calmed down was the self-proclaimed son of the late comedian Richie D’Horsie, who will be part of Pepsi Paloma’s life story.

Darryl Yap retorts to Igan: Who are you to lead the MTRCB?

In a Facebook post, a certain Alexis John Reyes, who is said to be one of Richie’s (Ricardo Reyes in real life) sons, cursed at Director Darryl.

Screenshots of Alexis John Romero’s alleged Facebook post, in which he actually mentioned the upcoming movie “The Rapists of Pepsi Paloma,” are now circulating widely.

The film also stars the character of Alexis’s late father, who will be played by theater actor Andres Balano, Jr.. Alexis reposted on FB the screenshot of Director Darryl introducing Andres as Richie.

Alexis’ caption reads, “(Swearing). My father is dead, he’s already quiet. What are you doing making a movie about, my father, you don’t have permission from our family, ah (swearing again) stop it, my father.”

Following this, Alexis’s Instagram story shows a photo of a law firm where she went to talk to the lawyer regarding Darryl Yap’s use of her father’s name in his film.
