Vice Ganda no longer wants to address Arnell Ignacio’s comments about his show  Gandang Gabi Vice  (GGV) allegedly disrespecting the Boy Scouts of the Philippines because of two gay boys, wearing Boy Scout uniforms, who were shown dancing on his program.

This happened on the September 22, 2019 episode of  GGV , where Boy Scouts Dave Salvador and Renz de Leon of Isabela were guests, whose video of them dancing while camping went viral.

Arnell’s statement: “It’s okay to be gay, man. I don’t have an issue with that, man.”

“But your respect for the Boy Scouts uniform, ‘then the usual dance will be…

“It’s like what I’m saying is, we don’t have anything left… no matter what institution, concept.

“This, let’s leave it as it is, right? So, what’s left for us if we can just throw it all away?”

“There are only a few left, okay? Can we just spare them?”

According to the Unkabogable Star, he did not read Arnell’s statement about his program.

“No, not at all. Yes, I’m just happy.”

“You know, you always ask me, is that really important?” Vice said when PEP.ph spoke to him at the launch of his new endorsement, Cherry Prepaid, held at the Novotel Hotel, Araneta City, Quezon City, Monday night, October 14.

Before this, PEP.ph already asked the  It’s Showtime  host about this during the press conference for the tenth anniversary of their noontime show on September 30.

But Vice said at the time that he could not comment because he was not aware of the issue.

“WE ARE PART OF THE WORLD”

Vice is now one of the members of the LGBTQIA (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual) community who is fortunate enough to be trusted by brands and companies to endorse their products.

What can he say about this?

The TV host-movie star responded, “It’s beautiful because people’s hearts are so open, not just their eyes, but their hearts are open to accepting that we are here and that we have value and that we are part of the world.”
