The “Kalokalike Face 4” segment of “It’s Showtime” on Friday, October 11 had an awkward moment because of Vice Ganda’s honest mistake.

During the hosts’ interview with the contestant, Meme Vice mistakenly mentioned “Deniece Cornejo” instead of “Denise Laurel.” “How well do you know Deniece Cornejo?” Vice asked, which prompted his co-hosts to correct him.

It is worth noting that Vhong Navarro was on stage during the now-viral scene. Following the uncomfortable moment, Denise, one of the segment’s judges, asked Vhong to hug her. “Brother Vhong, hug me in front of them. Because that’s a different Denise,” the actress aired.

He is best known for hosting “It’s Showtime” and for his commercially successful movies in the MMFF. The superstar is currently in a relationship with Ion Perez. He and Ion got their Certificate of Commitment in a special ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada on Oct. 19, 2021.

Vice Ganda decided to hop on the ‘Hands Up On Your Hip’ trend. Vice did the challenge with a twist, opting to dance with his mother, Nanay Rosario. In the video, Nanay Rosario jived to the song first before Vice followed suit. Needless to say, many found it funny to see Vice and Nanay Rosario doing the viral challenge.

As previously reported by KAMI, Vice Ganda, during one “It’s Showtime’s” episode, mentioned Billy Crawford. On Instagram, ABS-CBN uploaded a video of the clip from the noontime show. In the video, Vice recalled Billy randomly calling him once and asked where he was.
