Philippine showbiz is in turmoil as Piolo Pascual has become the center of attention after Gabby Concepcion made a surprising move. According to sources, Gabby made a move that was considered disrespectful, leading to a wave of criticism from fans.

Piolo, who is known for his gentle personality, has remained silent about the incident. However, netizens are still buzzing and wondering if the relationship between the two veteran stars has been seriously affected.

Is this just a misunderstanding or the beginning of a bigger conflict?

Gabby Concepcion on rumored breakup of KC and Piolo Pascual: “I think they look okay. They look okay.”

Gabby admits he doesn’t know Piolo too well.

Gabby Concepcion was interviewed by PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) for the cast pictorial of Regal Films Metro Manila Film Festival 2011 entry  Yesterday Today Tomorrow .

This took place at the Regal office in Valencia compound, San Juan City yesterday, November 13.

After asking her about her role in the said movie and her transfer to TV5, PEP also asked Gabby about the condition of her and Sharon Cuneta’s daughter, KC Concepcion.

According to Gabby, the last time they spoke was on her birthday on November 5.

The 47-year-old actor’s story: “He congratulated me on my birthday.

“He said he’s going to sing in Indonesia [for the SEA Games]. He said he’s really happy.”

“Sabi ko, ‘Good luck. I’m proud of you, my lovely daughter.’”

KC-PIOLO RUMORED BREAKUP.  In recent weeks, news has emerged about the alleged breakdown of KC’s relationship with her boyfriend Piolo Pascual.

But to this day, it is not clear whether they are still there or not.

Gabby said about this: “Yes, I heard about it too.

“I don’t know what happened to them.”

“Well, of course I would like to know too.”

“It’s not that I’m interfering.”

“But if he [KC] has something he wants to say, maybe I can give him advice if he asks.

“But of course, that’s a private issue, huh?”

“We talked about that once, but nothing, he was just asking questions in general.”

But how are KC and Piolo?

“I think they look okay. They’re okay.”

“Of course, as each day passes, we don’t know if there is any improvement.”

“Only they know that.”

If his son asked him for advice, what would he say?

According to Gabby, “He always asks for advice. But the ultimate decision is hers.

“Siyempre, I trust her decision. I’m always behind her.

“You know, ‘Think before you decide. Follow your heart above all.’

“And she’s old enough naman to decide on what’s good and what isn’t. What’s good for her and what’s not.”

ON PIOLO.  Gabby was directly asked if she believes the rumor that Piolo always makes her daughter cry.

According to the actor, “Oh, you know, in a relationship, there really is something like that. We can’t avoid that.

“And in a relationship, you always have to work on it.

“So, whether he’s crying or not, I don’t care.”

“But I’m sure, meron yun.

“It’s normal, eh. It happens through a person’s relationship.”

“Better to have loved than never to have loved at all.”

Has her impression of Piolo changed since the issues between him and KC?

Gabby said, “Well, I haven’t known Piolo since birth.

“We don’t have dialogue. We don’t have small talks.”

“We don’t have movies, we don’t have teleseryes.”

Hasn’t KC introduced Piolo to her in person yet?

“No, we didn’t have an encounter.”

“We were just having an encounter, like a pictorial for Star Magic, that’s all.

“Pero, wala kaming family get-together or sit-down dinner or lunch.

“He [Piolo] greets us when we have pictorials on Star Magic.

“But, we didn’t talk, or whatever happened in your life.”

“But, of course, I won’t start it. Private life nila yun.”
