The ‘Green Bones’ team is full of gratitude at their thanksgiving party!

It seems like the blessings are overflowing for the entire team of the inspirational-drama film Green Bones .

Until now, many people are still enjoying the film and its screening nationwide has reached its fourth week.

Green Bones even won six prestigious awards at the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival: Best Actor (Dennis Trillo), Best in a Supporting Role (Ruru Madrid), Best Child Performer (Sienna Stevens), Best Screenplay (Ricky Lee and Angeli Atienza), Best Cinematography (Neil Daza), and Best Pictures.

To celebrate the film’s huge success, its cast and crew gathered for a thanksgiving dinner in Quezon City.

The event was star-studded with stars like Dennis Trillo, Ruru Madrid, Alesandra de Rossi, Ronnie Lazaro, Mikoy Morales, Gerhard Acao, Raul Morit, Sienna Stevens, Sofia Pablo, Victor Neri, and Enzo Osorio.

Also present were the film’s creators, Director Zig Dulay, Anj Atienza, Neil Daza, and National Artist Ricky Lee.

GMA Public Affairs First Vice President and GMA Pictures Executive Vice President, Nessa Valdellon, also had a fun party with officials from Columbia Pictures.

As a thank you for their support and help in sharing their language in the film, several individuals from the deaf community were invited.

“I just want to say thank you for giving so much heart and so much love to this movie. I saw it in every group in every step of the process. It seemed like from the very beginning to just thinking of the concept until the writing, ‘the directing with Direk Zig, the shooting with Direk Neil’s team, the making of the music,” said Ms. Nessa.

“Thank you so much for all the help from each and every one of us. The Best Picture is really for all of us. I also want to thank our bosses at GMA Pictures. To Ms. Annette Gozon Valdes, Ma’am Nessa Valdellon, thank you always for the trust. I always say that in real life it’s hard to make a movie. But it’s even harder to gain people’s trust, especially when making an MMFF movie. Millions are being bet on you, so there’s a lot of trust, Ma’am Nessa,” said Director Zig.

Aside from their dinner, the entire Green Bones team also had fun chatting and playing games at their party.
