Sofia Pablo opened up on the feud between her and fellow Sparkle star Jillian Ward.

In her GMA Integrated News interview together with Allen Ansay, Nelson Canlas asked the 18-year-old actress about the score between her and the Star of the New Gen.

“Actually, he always asks me about it and I’ve always said that we’re not enemies, we don’t agree or anything,” she said.

“But the truth is, I say that to avoid an issue for both of us. I mean, it’s a feud that’s been going on for so long. I think one of the things why we couldn’t fix it is because we never got to talk about it,” she added.

Sofia said their conflict started way back in the first season of their GMA Afternoon Prime series “Prima Donnas,” which began airing in 2019. However, she did not reveal the reason for it.

Sofia said she and Jillian were close before.

“I was just surprised that it suddenly stopped. That’s what happened to us. After that, we never talked anymore,” she said. “We’re close and then suddenly it’s gone. Like literally gone, in a snap, there’s no need for anything. Literally, stopped.”

Sofia said she does not want them to have an issue as they are both at the peak of their careers.

“People should stop making an issue about it. Like kung ‘di kami OK, I don’t see any problem with it. Kumbaga it’s normal,” she said. “You can’t force friendship to reconcile out of nowhere.”

The actress also revealed that she and “Prima Donnas” co-star Will Ashley also previously had a misunderstanding and they didn’t talk for four years.

“He would just greet me on my birthday,” she said. “I thank you, but apart from that, when we meet, it’s invisible.”

Now, however, they have reconciled and star together in “Prinsesa ng City Jail.”

“Before we started taping we talked,” she said. “I think that will come with Jillian. When the time is right, when someone starts, ‘why don’t you talk?’ Because that’s what happened with Will.”

“We were OK because we both wanted to be OK. And now is not the right time [with Jillian] yet since I’m also confused.”

“Prinsesa ng City Jail” premiered on GMA Afternoon Prime on Monday. It airs weekdays at 3:20 pm after “Lilet Matias: Attorney-At-Law.”
