SEVERE “insecurity” is said to be one of the reasons why former Kapuso celebrity couple Barbie Forteza and Jak Roberto broke up.

That’s what some netizens believe because Barbie is now much more famous compared to Jak, whose showbiz career seems to have taken a turn for the worse.

Netizens noticed that Barbie’s projects in television and movies are one after another, but Jak is no longer seen much on GMA 7.

This issue was discussed on Ogie Diaz’s “Showbiz Updates” YouTube channel with Tita Jegs, who provided information about the reason for Jak and Barbie’s divorce.

He said that Jak might have felt insecure about Barbie because of the actress’s current popularity, especially the pairing of the young woman and the National Gentleman, David Licauco.

“I just heard about it. This is one of the reasons, the reason. Jak Roberto felt his insecurity, that Barbie was more famous than him,” said Tita Jegs.

But Mama Ogs contradicted her, “I don’t think so. They said before that they were supportive of each other. And it seems like they’re already planning their future.

“It’s okay for them to break up. Netizens can handle it, that’s annoying. They’ll definitely look for a reason,” the talent manager and content creator added.

Barbie was the only one to give an official statement regarding her breakup with Jak, but she did not mention the reason for their breakup.

The girl posted several photos of her and Jak along with her message in which she formally said goodbye to the actor.

“’Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened – Dr. Seuss,’” was Barbie’s opening caption on her Instagram post.

“Having you in my life was the happiest I had ever been. Seven wonderful years. A lot of laughs, a lot of ramen and so much love.

“Your love was exceptional. But sometimes, good things fall apart so better things can come together. Beautiful goodbye, @jakroberto.

“Thank you for loving me the way you did. I am excited for what’s to come for the both of us. You take care of yourself. May you find the love you deserve.

“I hope for everyone’s understanding and I wish you can help us put this matter to rest,” was the overall message of the “Pulang Araw” star.

Until now, Jak still hasn’t spoken about his breakup with Barbie.
