Jean Garcia and Rita Daniela gave thoughtful messages for Barbie Forteza after she announced her breakup from Jak Roberto.

According to Lhar Santiago’s report on “24 Oras,” Friday, Jean and Barbie became close to each other when they worked together in “The Half Sisters.”

“As long as I’m there, anytime Barbie needs me, she needs someone to talk to, she needs to vent, she needs my support, and she needs someone to listen to her and she wants a shoulder to cry on, [I’m] right here. Barbie knows that,” Jean said.

Rita offered the same comfort and support for her fellow Sparkle star.

“You know, that’s why Barang and I became friends, because I can say that we have the same—maybe the same energy when it comes to people and I guess also deciding, making decisions. So whatever Barang is going through right now, I know he has thought about it carefully and has prepared for it,” Rita said.

“And, my God, Tito Lhar, that woman is so brave. Of course she needs our love and our hugs, but I know she can handle it,” she added.

Barbie announced her breakup from Jak on Thursday. They were together for seven years.

Before she made the announcement, Barbie also received a short message from her sister, Gabrielle Vierneza.

“Gusto ko happy ka,” Gabrielle posted on X (formerly Twitter) on January 1, together with a photo of the Sparkle star laughing.
