Marietta Subong, better known as Pokwang, is one of the Philippines’ most beloved comediennes. Known for her witty, down-to-earth humor and motherly demeanor, she’s been a favorite among Filipinos for years. Known for her culinary flair, she offers a range of Filipino delicacies like laing (taro leaves in coconut milk), tuyo (dried fish), tinapa (smoked fish), aligue (crab fat), alamang (shrimp paste), ube halaya (purple yam jam), and her signature suka (vinegar). The business has been gaining traction, and in a recent Instagram post, Pokwang joyfully announced that her products have been receiving an influx of orders.

“Busy ang mamang daming order. Salamat po,” she wrote, expressing her gratitude to her customers. She also invited followers to order through her Facebook page, “Mamang Pokwang’s Gourmet”, or on Instagram at @mamangpokwangs_gourmet.
