After collaborating on three different projects, Paulo Avelino and Kim Chiu have undeniably developed a strong connection. However, despite his long and successful career in showbiz, Paulo never expected to have the opportunity to work with Kim, his leading lady in My Love Will Make You Disappear.

At the film’s media conference on February 19, Paulo candidly shared his thoughts, saying, “Never ko talagang in-expect, kasi parang after a while, parang naging iba na rin ‘yung tahak ng mga gusto kong gawin.” (I really never expected it because, after a while, I felt like my career was going in a different direction.)

But what truly caught everyone off guard was his smooth and unexpected remark that left both the audience and Kim in awe: “So, hindi ko alam na kay Kim pala ang bagsak ko.” (I didn’t know I would end up with Kim.)

Kim, unable to contain her excitement, immediately responded in jest: “Hala, pwede hanggang ‘dun nalang ‘yung media con na ‘to?!” (Oh no, can we just end the media conference here?!)
