Nathalie Hart says her daughter shows no interest in her being an actress except for one thing. Read here:

Nathalie Hart talked candidly about her six-year-old daughter Penelope when asked if she’s aware of her being an actress.

In an interview recently, the actress related to GMANetwork.com and other select media, “You know, nakakatawa noong nag-Family Feud ako, kilala niya si Dingdong Dantes kasi nakikita niya ang anak ni Dingdong. Sabi ko, ‘I will bring you to my taping.’ ‘Why, mommy?’ ‘You know your mom works in TV.’ ‘Oh, really?’

“Yun lang, parang after that, sunud-sunod na, ‘You know, you’re mom is an actress.’ ‘Yeah, mom, I know. I saw you in that thing.’ Nakakatawa lang, ang arte-arte. She was really interested only because crush niya yung anak ni Dingdong Dantes.’

In the same interview, Nathalie mentioned that Penelope had been her anchor while going through a tough moment after her short-lived marriage.

“Sa anak ko talaga [ako kumapit],” said Nathalie.

“Iniisip ko na lang, kung patapon na ang buhay ko, kawawa naman ang anak ko. Sa kanya talaga ako kumukuha ng lakas. Kapag nakikita ko ang mukha ng anak ko, sabi ko, ‘My God, I have to make a lot of money. I have to be successful, so when I leave this world, may pupuntahan naman yung buhay ng anak ko. I think it’s really my daughter.”

She also discussed some challenges she encountered as a single parent.

Nathalie said, “Mahirap lang na you have to decide everything. Yun lang ang nakakainis doon.

“If there’s a good cop and a bad cop, you’re both. How can you play those two roles? Yun lang siguro ang pinakamahirap doon, especially when you’re a single parent.”
