This was after the singer-actress went on a hiatus and made herself largely unavailable both on social media and in official physical appearances. Her recent post on IG Stories is a series of schedules for her film, Sunshine, which will be shown abroad as one of the entries in the Palm Springs International Film Festival.

She also included a caption on her post, inviting everyone to watch her movie on the posted schedules.

“Hello. Palm Spring International Film Festival! Get your tickets now,” Maris wrote. It can be recalled that the actress went on a hiatus after screenshots of her alleged convo with Anthony Jennings surfaced online. The said screenshots were shared to the public by Jamela Villanueva, the ex-girlfriend of Anthony. One of the last times that Maris appeared online and on TV in an official capacity was when she addressed the controversy that arose after the screenshots were made public. At the time, her Instagram page even became inaccessible, though it went online again about eight days later.

Maris Racal is a Filipina actress, singer-songwriter, host, vlogger, and endorser. She became prominent in 2014 after competing in “Pinoy Big Brother: All In,” where she placed second. She was previously in a relationship with Rico Blanco, a singer-songwriter and OPM legend. Recently, a netizen spotted Maris spending some time doing mountain climbing. The netizen captured a photo of the singer-actress and shared it on Facebook. The FB user thanked the group of Maris that they hiked at Mt. Ulap. In the photos, the actress looked beautiful.

At the height of the controversy surrounding the screenshots of her alleged convo with Anthony, Maris’ socmed account suddenly became inaccessible. However, eight days later, it went online again. It appeared that the singer-actress might have deactivated that particular account last December 6 and only became active again as of December 16. Maris was thrust into the center of controversy after some allegations were made against her along with the surfacing of the screenshots in question.
