MANILA — Actress and businesswoman KC Concepcion feels emotionally and mentally better after the relationship of her parents, Gabby Concepcion and Sharon Cuneta, improved following their mega successful “Dear Heart” concert.
“Iba pa rin ang feeling kapag magkasundo ‘yung mga magulang mo. Maganda yung feeling for me. I love my mom and I love my dad. I love my family,” she said in an interview during the Azkals Celebrity game in Taguig City, Sunday afternoon.
“It is a good example sa buhay ko. Itong parents ko na ‘di na nagsasama pero nakakagawa pa ng magandang bagay sa buhay nila,” she added.
Concepcion explained that her parents taking their “Dear Heart” on tour in the United States and Canada is a source of inspiration.
“Napaka-happy ko na nagtatrabaho sila ulit together. Napaka-gandang feeling sa lahat. It talks about friendship, forgiveness, ‘di porket naghiwalay ibig sabihin kailangan magka-away.it is an inspiration for all of us,” she said.
Concepcion stressed her love for her blended family and proudly spoke about her relationship with paternal younger sister, Samantha.
“[Blooming ako] kasi kasama ko sister ko ngayon! Super close kami, lagi ‘to natutulog sa bahay ko,” the older Concepcion said.
Samantha meanwhile said her “ate” is very hands-on and caring.
According to the actress, working out has also helped improve her mental health and overall well-being.
“I have been working out everyday. Nag-pilates ako, yoga. I just want to have good energy sa buhay ko,” she said.
Concepcion also shared that while she is busy with her online ventures, she hopes to make a return to teleseryes in the near future.
“Ayoko iwan buhay artista. Syempre mga fans they are always there,” she admitted.
“It is always in my heart. Artista for life. For now, online talaga yung world ko. Yung vlog ko, yung Youtube ko, the KC diaries. I have been working on my online businesses and I am working on two new things. I am really excited,” she added.
