John Wayne Sace, according to Julius Babao, declined to enter a rehabilitation center or move away from his area.

In Babao’s one-on-one interview with Sace a year ago, efforts were made to help the former child star with his struggles but he refused. Unfortunately, John Wayne now faces serious criminal charges.

He is currently detained at the Pasig City Police Headquarters.

John Wayne Sace started as a child actor under ABS-CBN’s Star Magic and joined the popular ASAP boy group AnimE alongside stars like Rayver Cruz. Sace acted in several soap operas but stepped back from the spotlight in the 2010s. He returned in 2021 with a role in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. In 2016, Sace was injured in a shooting incident where his friend was killed. Both were reportedly on the police’s drug watch list due to alleged involvement in illegal substance.

In a previous report by KAMI, John Wayne Sace, a former child star, was arrested by Pasig Police for allegedly shooting his former friend. According to the authorities, they gathered an important lead as to where Sace was hiding when he made a Facebook post. He posted a photo of him with a noticeable background, it showed a wall of a certain hotel in the same city. Later on, police undercover went to the hotel, where they were able to nab Sace.

In relation to this report, a heartbreaking video of the daughter of the alleged victim of John Wayne Sace, Lynell Eugenion, is now viral. The sad video was posted on Facebook by the daughter of the alleged victim, Cristel Regina Pascual Eugenio. It shows Cristel sobbing in deep sadness as she watches her father inside the coffin. In the video, she was even heard saying, “Papa ko… Papa ko, tumayo ka diyan.”
