Dia Mate expresses deep gratitude after earning Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 crown.

Caviteña beauty queen Dia Mate won the 2025 Reina Hispanoamericana crown at the live coronation in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, on February 9.

On Instagram, Dia penned a gratitude letter after winning the Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 title.

“The past few days have been a whirlwind of emotions. Years of dedication and hard work finally manifested into the second Reina Hispanoamericana crown for the Philippines!” she wrote.

She expressed that she was honored to have represented the Philippines internationally. She also thanked those who supported her, including her core team, mentors, designers, creatives, family and friends, and the Filipinos.

Dia noted, “Your unwavering support pushed me to be the queen I am today.

“Thank you to the organization and to God for giving me this opportunity. I will not take this reign for granted. I will be the best Reina I can be!”

Dia took home the second Reina Hispanoamericana crown eight years after Winwyn Marquez took the title in 2017.

She first tried her luck in Miss Universe Philippines 2024, where she failed to place in the top 20. However, she won Miss Cream Silk and placed in the top five finalists in the swimsuit challenge.

Aside from being a beauty queen, Dia is also a singer-songwriter and the girlfriend of musician Juan Karlos.
