Netizens and fans continue to enjoy the inspirational-drama film ‘Green Bones’!

Many netizens were given hope and inspiration by the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival movie Green Bones.

Aside from its touching story, the film is full of meaningful lessons about sacrifice, justice, and goodness. It also raises awareness of various situations related to what is happening in the country today. Just like the trials and tribulations of members of the deaf community.

Kapuso child star Sienna Stevens plays the role of a hearing-impaired child. Other cast members like Dennis Trillo, Mikoy Morales, and Royce Cabrera can also be seen clearly signing in the film.

That’s why many individuals in the deaf community were excited and inspired to watch Green Bones . Some even expressed their gratitude to the film’s creators during their respective block screenings.

To bring more joy to deaf individuals, 2024 MMFF Best Actor winner Dennis Trillo also visited the community for a special screening.

Dennis happily mingled with those who attended the blockscreening, including his fans who organized the event. Everyone was all smiles as they watched the inspirational-drama film with the lead actor.

In a post by GMA Pictures, they showed off their photos from the block screening. The caption happily read, “Block Screening with the Deaf Community” along with a heart-hand emoji. “A block screening of the Green Bones Movie was held for fans of MMFF 50 Best Actor Dennis Trillo with the deaf community!”

Green Bones will continue to be shown in select theaters nationwide, until January 14.

It is directed by Direk Zig Dulay and written by Ricky Lee and Angeli Atienza. It is also co-produced by Brightburn Entertainment and distributed by Columbia Pictures for Sony Pictures Releasing International. Green Bones

will also be screened along with other MMFF movies in Los Angeles, USA, for the Manila International Film Fest 2025 (MIFF). The awaited film festival will start from January 30 to February 2, 2025.
