‘Green Bones’ will soon be screened at the Manila International Film Fest 2025!
Aside from the extended screening in theaters in the Philippines, the inspirational-drama film Green Bones will soon be released on the big screens of Hollywood.
The film is part of the much-anticipated Manila International Film Fest 2025 (MIFF) to be held from January 30 to February 2, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. It also joins other highly anticipated 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival movies and GMA Pictures and Star Cinema’s high-grossing film Hello, Love, Again .
“We will bring these films of the Metro Manila Film Festival to Hollywood. Hello, Love, Again will also be screened at the Manila International Film Fest. Since Green Bones won Best Pictures at the MMFF, this is one of the highlights,” said GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdez.
The film’s main leads, Best Actor Dennis Trillo and Best Supporting Actor Ruru Madrid, were invited to the screening and gala night of MIFF.
The two Kapuso actors are said to be excited about the festival, especially Ruru, who will be flying to the US for the first time.
“Because of the movie Green Bones , I feel like I can finally achieve that dream. I can’t wait for them to watch the movie Green Bones,” said the primetime action hero.
For Dennis, everything that is happening to him as an actor is a dream come true because of the inspirational-drama film. Recently, the Kapuso Drama King shared his gratitude for the blessings he received during this 50th MMFF .
“This wouldn’t have happened if it weren’t for all those who watched, supported, and believed in the project. We owe it all to you. Thank you to all those who went to the theater and spent money to watch our film,” Dennis said happily.
GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs’ entry Green Bones will continue to be shown until January 14 in selected theaters nationwide.
It is directed by Direk Zig Dulay and written by Ricky Lee and Anj Atienza. It is also co-produced by Brightburn Entertainment and distributed by Columbia Pictures for Sony Pictures Releasing International.
