When entertainment writer Rose Garcia interviewed Mina at the Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat media conference on Tuesday, February 16, she said that she didn’t want to lose or trample on her children.
“As a mother, of course I don’t want them to experience being trampled on by other people or being pitied or oppressed.
“But I always tell my children to always be kind, to be respectful to everyone and I’m proud to say that my children are really kind, huh?”
“They are very respectful, so I know they will be okay, but I always tell my kids you cannot please everybody, there are always people who will annoy you, there are always people who will bash you and I’m also very thankful because my kids, especially now with social media you know they have their accounts, there are really some bashers,
“That’s what I’m saying, that can’t be lost, because even the most holy ones, [have] opposition.”
“It’s also nice to see that they are not affected if they read comments or posts from their bashers.”
“It’s good that they don’t care. They don’t care as long as they’re not hurting anyone and they’re just minding their own business, they’re okay. They’re not affected when they’re being bashed. They’re only affected when we’re being bashed,”

“Of course, there are those who step on it, but I don’t plant it. Because for me… I always have the last laugh, I guess.”
According to the Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat actress, the fact that projects continue to arrive is proof that she is doing her job well as an entertainer.
Saad niya, “Because up to now I’ve been in the industry half of my life and up to now I’m still here. I may not be a superstar, I may not be a megastar but, I’m still here, acting. Doing what I love to do and I want to believe that I’m doing good in my craft that’s why siguro nandito pa rin ako.”
