Kathryn Bernardo never stops learning.
The actress opened up about her three-week stay in Hong Kong while shooting the Cathy Garcia-Sampana movie “Hello, Love, Goodbye”. There, Kathryn had the opportunity to put herself in the shoes of hardworking Overseas Filipino Workers, as she portrayed her character Joy.
“Mahirap ‘yung buong experience,” she revealed in an exclusive interview with “TV Patrol” on June 12, 2019. “Na-homesick [ako doon]. Grabe ‘yung respect ko sa mga OFWs lalo. Kasi ‘yung tatlong linggo ko doon, my God, feeling ko ilang taon na ako.”
All her hard work was worth it, though. Kathryn, who later got a preview of the movie’s teaser, couldn’t be prouder of the result.
“Super proud ako. Hindi lang sa project, maybe sa growth din na na-experience ko while making this film,” she enthused.
“Hello, Love, Goodbye” also stars Alden Richards as Ethan, along with castmates who also play OFWs, namely Joross Gamboa, Kakai Bautista, Jeffrey Tam, Lovely Abella, and Maymay Entrata.
