Jodi Sta. Maria just got her certificate for finishing Level A Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) training at the Makati Medical Center.
The “Unbreak My Heart” actress took to Instagram to share her new milestone, which she described as “transformative, educational, and informative.”
“This training wasn’t just about gaining tools to help others heal—it was also a personal awakening,” she said.
“I walk away with a deeper understanding of my own connections,” she added.
Jodi then thanked the doctors, psychologists, and counselors of the Makati Medical Center’s Mood and Anxiety Resource and Referral Center and Interpersonal Psychotherapy Institute for enriching her training experience.
“This has been an enriching and humbling experience that I will carry with me always,” she said.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, IPT is a “talk therapy” practiced by mental health professionals “to help manage major depressive order.”
Aside from pursuing higher studies, Jodi has also been traveling worldwide to check off countries on her bucket list.
In December 2024, she went to India and visited the iconic Taj Mahal, the Karni Mata Temple, and the world’s largest open-air laundry in Mumbai, the Dhobi Ghat.
In the same year, she visited Easter Island in Chile and ticked off all seven continents when she went on an icy adventure in Antarctica.
