Camille Prats is set to portray her worst kontrabida role yet in the upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime series, “Mommy Dearest.”

According to Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras” Wednesday, the said kontrabida role was a challenge to take on for the Kapuso actress and host.

“Ito siguro I would say ‘yung pinakamalalang kontrabida that I have ever done in the 32 years of my career in this industry. I found it very challenging, and for the first time, I wanted to do something different,” she said.

Camille will star alongside Katrina Halili and Shayne Sava.

While Katrina was formerly known for her kontrabida roles, Camille’s character in the series will be the one maltreating Katrina’s character.

 

“Every time we do a scene, he’ll curse and then I’ll cry, I’ll laugh and then he’ll laugh too. I laugh because I’m like, ‘That should be me’ and then ‘That should be you.’ I think because I think he’s more suited to my role, so pitiful, so kind,” she said.

The upcoming series also marks Winwyn Marquez’s return to acting after giving birth and being a hands-on mom to he r daughter Luna.

The Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 is likewise set to make a pageant comeback as she will be representing Muntinlupa in Miss Universe Philippines 2025.

“I don’t want to have regrets, especially since I also want my child to see her mommy while she’s growing up, like she pursued her dream,” Winwyn said.

“Mommy Dearest” will air on GMA Network this February.
