Julie Anne San Jose is nothing but supportive of her boyfriend, Rayver Cruz, when it comes to his show “Asawa Ng Asawa Ko.”
During an interview with GMA News Online, Julie Anne gave Rayver a high five and then a pat on the back. “Congratulations! I’m so proud of you.”
When asked what she can say about Rayver’s recent intimate scenes in the series, Julie Anne said while laughing, “I watched it! I watched them!”
She said that she is really one of the show’s many viewers, and she gets amazed at the heights it reaches on both TV and online platforms.
“Magagaling kasi talaga silang mga actor and maganda rin ‘yung story line, and of course, sa direksyon ni Direk Laurice Guillen. And siyempre, I am watching it because also of Ray,” she said.
According to Julie Anne, she’s OK with Rayver’s intimate scenes on the show.
Rayver added, “Very supportive nito ni Julie and nakakatuwa kasi nga ang tagal ko na rin talagang mahal ‘yung pag-arte and ‘di ko makakalimutan ‘tong show na ‘to. Kasi sa show na ‘to, dun nila nakita na parang ‘Uy, ganun pala si Rayver.’”
He also said he is grateful for all of the support given to the show, which started airing in January this year.
“Kaya rin naman mataas ‘yung ratings kasi dahil sa kanila and talagang tinangkilik nila ‘yung show,” Rayver said.
“Talagang naging isang pamilya kasi kami doon sa show. Siguro kaya nag-translate ‘yung vibe na parang—nung una kasi nandun ‘yung pressure, and then pagdating nung ginagawa naming show, parang na-enjoy nalang namin siya,” he said. “Alam ko extended na naman kami, so maraming maraming salamat po. Maraming salamat.”
Rayver was named Best TV Actor last June during the Gawad Dangal Filipino Awards.
