On the evening of October 25, the final night of Miss Grand International 2024 ended with the victory of the Indian representative – Rachel Gupta. The remaining runner-up positions were representatives from the Philippines, Myanmar, France, and Brazil.

However, after the contest ended, the Myanmar representative felt dissatisfied with the results. Beauty Thae Su Nyein clearly showed her dissatisfaction when her name was only called as the 2nd runner-up. She kept crying, looking absent-minded and uncomfortable while taking photos. After that, the National Director of Miss Grand Myanmar – Mr. SoeMin Tun also got angry, holding Thae Su Nyein’s runner-up crown and intending to throw it to the ground, but luckily someone stopped her.

Notably, when the Miss Grand Myanmar team went out and skipped the Top 5 press conference to show their opposition to President Nawat, many cameras were pointed at them. The Miss Grand Myanmar National Director was “shocked”, angrily raised his hand to hit someone’s phone but was stopped by some members of the team to help cool down SoeMin Tun’s anger.

After creating chaos after the Miss Grand 2024 final, the beauty public in both countries argued fiercely.
