Heart Evangelista Sends Chilling Warning to Pia Wurtzbach: ‘Beware of Emotional Terrorists!’

For the first time, global fashion icon Heart Evangelista addressed the issues involving her, former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, and her former glam team.

During a press conference for her new GMA Network show “Heart World,” the 39-year-old actress was candid about the situation, clarifying that she “never had a problem with Pia,” but the complications arose when Wurtzbach started working with her former glam team.

Evangelista refrained from naming names, but Wurtzbach has been known to collaborate with makeup artist Justin Louise Soriano and hairstylist Jeck Aguilar, who were formerly part of Evangelista’s glam team. Rumors suggest that Evangelista fired them for allegedly spending her money without permission and stealing “contacts and connections” in the fashion industry.

“Once and for all, woman to woman, I never had a problem with Pia. In fact, I’m one of those who cheered for her in the past, and I’d like to think it was the same for her. She was sweet enough to even use and post a tag ‘heart made me do it,’ and at that time, I was so touched. But it’s the people she chose to surround herself with for specific reasons that make this whole thing problematic,” she shared.

“If I have a message for Pia, it would be congratulations. You have what you needed, I wish you nothing but the best, and good luck. Sana hindi mangyari sayo yung nangyari sa akin. Yun lang siguro ang gusto kong sabihin (I wish what happened to me won’t happen to me),” Evangelista said.

Despite the controversy, Evangelista said that it was time to “move forward.” “It is what it is, and everybody should just be happy and let’s try to take out the personal gain. I have forgiven. If there’s anybody who will understand someone, it’s someone who has truly loved—and I loved them all. So still, I understand. So yun lang, tama na, okay na (So that’s it, it’s enough, it’s okay). I just want to stay on my lane, that’s it. I just want to stay on my lane,” Evangelista emphasized.

Evangelista will soon return to television with her reality and vlog-style show Heart World, premiering on October 26. Viewers will get an inside look at her life, with a mix of personal storytelling, behind-the-scenes moments from fashion week, and glimpses of her glamorous lifestyle in both Manila and Paris.

When asked if the show will touch on the controversies, she said, “My past and my present are part of my story, so as much as possible, I will show everything on Heart World. I guess the moral lesson of this story, for me, in a nutshell, I consider myself medyo beterano sa industriya (a veteran in the industry). I’ve been here for almost 27 years. That’s a long time. I’ve been through a lot, met different kinds of people—some stay, some go. But you have to truly be careful who you trust, who you freely give your heart to because sometimes, may mga makakapasok na mga emotional terrorists (there will be emotional terrorists) that are there to kill and destroy your life. You have to be wary of that.” “Maybe not for yourself, but for the people in your life that matter, because mahirap talaga kapag may pinagdadaanan ang isang tao na hindi niya kayang dalhin yung sarili niya it is really difficult if a person is going through something and he can’t carry the burden himself), and you don’t know what to do. So maybe not for myself but for the people around me—my husband, my family. If there’s anything in my life, it’s that I put everybody at risk, I put my family at risk because I allowed certain people to enter. So beware of emotional terrorists because they do exist,” she warned.

“A crime was committed because I let it happen. It was still me who decided, but you have to be careful. Masira na ang buhay ko, wag lang masira ang buhay ng pamilya ko kasi hinayaan ko na makapasok sila. As artistas, even normal people, if you’re too open, may makakapasok, so ingat (It doesn’t matter if it’s my life that’s destroyed for as long as my family isn’t affected because I allowed those people to enter. As actors, even normal people, if you’re too open, there will be those who will enter, so be careful). Don’t let your guard down, ever,” Evangelista added.
