In time for the Miss Universe pageant, Filipino shoemaker Jojo Bragais proudly shared his new shoe creation named after the reigning Miss Universe Philippines Chelsea Manalo.

On social media on Wednesday, Bragais shared the good news to his followers as he showcased his new creation.

“Introducing CHELSEA! Jojo Bragais proudly unveils our latest tribute pair, inspired by #MissUniverse Philippines 2024, Chelsea Manalo,” the shoemaker wrote in his caption.

According to Bragais, the shoe design is a “celebration of relentless dreamers and resilient underdogs” which perfectly describes the journey of the country’s representative to Miss Universe.

“Handcrafted and designed as a celebration of relentless dreamers and resilient underdogs, the CHELSEA pair embodies the spirit of those who rise against the odds in their pursuit of greatness,” he said.

Apart from sharing his new creation, Bragais hopes the best for the Filipina who will represent the country in the upcoming edition of the Miss Universe.

“Chelsea, may you continue to Walk. Win all the way to the Miss Universe crown,” he shared.

Manalo is aiming to become the Philippines’ fifth Miss Universe titleholder after Catriona Gray (2018), Pia Wurtzbach (2015), Margie Moran (1973), and Gloria Diaz (1969).

The 73rd Miss Universe competition will be held in Mexico on November 16. The pageant will be shown live on ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, Metro Channel, and iWantTFC on November 17.
