Kim Chiu recently retweeted a netizen’s post about her controversial statement about noisy cats. It can be recalled that a few months ago, she made this statement during the Madlang Pi-Poll segment on It’s Showtime,
“That’s annoying, isn’t it? The noise makes you want to splash hot water on yourself.”
The Kapamilya actress quickly apologized and explained that she didn’t mean what she said that day. However, her statement went viral again, garnering negative comments from other netizens. That’s why a netizen on Twitter criticized her, telling her to apologize. Kim clarified that she has apologized before, but she will do it again to make things clear.
“I really want to remain quiet on this, because this was a month or 2 months ago. I cleared this already, RIGHT AFTER saying those words, and asked for apology same day same segment, coz I know that I will never do it and cleared that its not really ganun. But the thing is,” post niya.
“Again for things to be clear hopefully, (for the 2nd time after two months) Sorry to all animal lovers, I didn’t mean to say those words, nor do those actions. It seems like no one would do that at that time. Let’s not make it any bigger, because no one was really hurt.”
