Rumor has it that Kapamilya actress Maris Racal was just pretending to be okay with her loveteam partner Anthony Jennings.

To recall, Maris and Anthony became controversial when their intimate messages surfaced on social media after the actor’s ex-girlfriend Jam Villanueva revealed the alleged cheating that happened.

Because of this, the loveteam partners opted to take a break from social media and showbiz engagements. However, they were present during the media conference for the new Kapamilya series Incognito. This was their first public appearance after the controversy.

MaThon fans noticed the sweetness between Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings during the Incognito press conference.

However, in a recent episode of Showbiz Update, the YouTube showbiz talk show of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, he mentioned that as what he heard, Maris Racal felt irritated towards Anthony Jennings during that promotional event for their series.

“Buwisit pa rin daw si Maris kay Anthony Jennings. Baka habang binabalita natin ‘yon okay na sila. Kasi parang naiirita raw si Maris noong Incognito fancon do’n sa Taguig,” Ogie shared.

His co-host Mama Loi said that Maris and Anthony appeared to be okay with each other on stage. Based on the article in Balita, some netizens even commented that it seemed that nothing happened as if the loveteam partners did not go through an issue.

“Hindi naman sila pwedeng magpakita na [naiinis sila],” Ogie said, adding that this is understandable if it is true. In a previous article, it was said that reporters were informed that personal questions were not allowed to be asked to Maris and Anthony during the press conference.

As of this writing, Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings haven’t released yet a statement regarding this matter. Meanwhile, the actress recently released a single with the title Perpektong Tao which she said helped her heal.
