‘Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan’ lead star Ruru Madrid is more afraid of girlfriend Bianca Umali than crocodiles.

A giant crocodile is the co-star of primetime action hero Ruru Madrid in the upcoming action-adventure series Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan.

This is Dakila, a crocodile made of a mixture of CGI and animatronics. Apart from that, Ruru has also tried feeding giant crocodiles at a crocodile sanctuary.

However, Ruru admitted that he is more afraid of his girlfriend Bianca Umali than crocodiles.

He is happy that Bianca and his family remain understanding and supportive especially now that the actor’s calendar is really full.

“I guess now, my focus is really on work. Of course, the preparation will not go away, like we need to work out, we need to train, so that’s what I prioritize. I talk to my family, I talk to Bianca that this is what we need first, let’s focus on this first. They understood,” Ruru shared in his interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.

Currently, Ruru is busy taping Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan , the second season of 2022’s most watched TV show.

“I was so overwhelmed because of course, like at first, when we were making this, we didn’t expect it to be that successful, we didn’t expect there to be a sequel. To be given a sequel, it means that many people enjoyed it and many people were waiting for it, so it’s very heartwarming and I’m also very grateful to everyone who made it,” he said.
