Miss Universe Philippines Chelsea Manalo took time out of her training in Los Angeles to rub shoulders with prominent Fil-Am personalities.
Miss Universe Philippines Chelsea Manalo is busy training in the United States for the upcoming Miss Universe pageant, but she is still making time to meet some of the members of the Filipino-American community.
In one of the more recent posts on the official Miss Universe Philippines Instagram account, the organization posted multiple photos of Chelsea with prominent members of the Filipino-American community in Los Angeles, which include television producer Lisa Lew and journalists Janet and Ruben Nepales.
Chelsea arrived in Los Angeles five days ago, with the Miss Universe Philippines organization posting a couple of photos of Chelsea at a Los Angeles airport. The group explained that Chelsea will be staying in the city for a few days to prepare for the Miss Universe coronation night to be held in Mexico on November 17.
Chelsea departed for Los Angeles a week ago, with the Miss Universe Philippines organization setting up a send-off for her at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Chelsea will head to Mexico on October 29 for the start of the Miss Universe competition.
Before flying to Los Angeles, Chelsea attended the MEGA Fashion Awards last month and wore a black and white ensemble from designer Rap Soligam and was described as a muse to creative artists.
Chelsea was also featured in Metro magazine back in August, with the Instagram Reel announcing the feature showing her at the shoot.
She was also the July cover star for MEGA magazine, with the publication describing Chelsea as opening up “the horizon for a more inclusive definition of beauty upon winning the crown.”
The beauty queen also attended the 2024 GMA Gala with other beauty queens.
