In most cases, when relationships are over, the connection between the two people involved has also ended. It’s hard enough to cross paths with them and even work with them. But for Catriona Gray and Sam Milby, work is work—even if it means traveling thousand of miles together.

A recent post from the official Instagram account of their talent agency, Cornerstone, serves as solid proof of Cat and Sam’s professionalism amid their broken relationship. The two celebrities are part of the roster of Cornerstone artists who went to Canada for their “2024 Cornerstone All Star Canada” tour.

Tbh, the post was just a simple update from the agency that several of their artists were bound for Canada to increase the excitement for their shows. But well, it all became a reason for fans to miss Cat and Sam as a couple. Included in Cornerstone’s photo carousel were two photos of the former couple seated away from each other. Sam was seated with John Prats, while Cat was sitting alone, holding a book that she might have been reading during their flight.

One commenter noticed, “Di na sila magkatabi sa seats Cat Sam.” Other followers echoed the sentiment and felt nostalgia about the once-happy couple. “Most awkward exes award goestto Catriona and Sam,” another said.

Until one online user noted the fact that Cat and Sam did not engage with some word wars after their breakup. “Oo, at least they’re still friends. ‘Yan ang maganda sa mga mag-ex. Hindi nagsisiraan at naging magka-away sa huli hehe,” the account owner wrote in the comments section.

True enough, at least to the public eye, Catriona and Sam quietly treaded through their relationship despite their current celebrity lives. When rumors about their sudden split happened months after their engagement, the two actually released a statement through their talent management.

“While it is true that Sam and Catriona are currently facing some challenges in their relationship, they are actively working on resolving these issues together,” the statement posted on February 28, 2024 read.

Cornerstone ended their statement by asking the public to respect the couple’s privacy and to send support for both of them. “We kindly request that everyone respect their privacy during this time as they navigate through this situation. We appreciate the concern and well-wishes from all those who have shown support for the couple.” After this, Cat and Sam can still be seen together at some events.

Are Catriona Gray and Sam Milby getting back together?

Since their statement, Cat and Sam have refrained from discussing further details about their relationship with the public. Perhaps the two have stayed civil towards each other—which is common between exes who still work together.

Despite everything, some fans seem to remain hopeful about a possible rekindling of Cat and Sam’s romance. As of writing, we’ve spotted that Sam’s Instagram account still includes photos of Cat and their engagement photos.

Some users have recently commented on their engagement photos via Sam’s IG expressing their thoughts that there might be (a tiny) possibility of them getting back together—and that’s because Sam has not yet deleted Cat’s digital footprints on his Instagram at the time of this writing. “I think may chance pa, kasi hindi pa sila nag-delete eh,” one commenter said. Meanwhile, Catriona deleted traces of Sam on her Instagram account in May 2024.
