Here are some of the behind-the-scenes of the dazzling send-off party for our Miss Universe 2024 bet Chelsea Manalo.

The whole pageant community in the Philippines is hoping that by the end of the Miss Universe 2024 coronation night in Mexico, Chelsea Manalo will become the fifth Pinay to bring home the crown.

In a report by Unang Hirit, Chelsea attended a dazzling send-off party held in Hilton Manila Hotel in Pasay and the guests and members of the press got the taste of how she will perform during the Q&A portion of the prestigious pageant.

Chelsea gave a strong answer to the question on how she will continue to be an inspiration as a woman of color.

“Instead of speaking, it’s time for us to hear it. The story that you hear from other people, try to indulge into that because if you hear that, then you have the voice. We already have that voice, we are already impactful in so many ways” the Bulacan beauty queen noted.

She added, “Hearing people can already be influential, because you have that capacity to really realize what is happening in reality, what’s happening in the society, and you can indulge that in yourself.”

It was Catriona Gray in 2018 who last gave the Philippines the Miss Universe crown. Past winners include Pia Wurtzbach (2015), Margarita Moran (1973), and Gloria Diaz (1969).

Meanwhile, Sparkle talent Michelle Dee made her presence felt at last year’s Miss Universe 2023 pageant by finishing in the Top 10.
