PJ Abellana went viral on social media again after she once again discussed the postponed wedding of her daughter, Carla Abellana, and Tom Rodriguez.
In an interview with Morly Alinio, PJ revealed that Carla has not spoken to him since she was given an interview request from Cristy Fermin.
However, netizens believe that Carla’s decision to ignore her father is valid, and said that PJ’s statement in the interview with the veteran columnist was below the belt.
It can be recalled that last March, PJ insisted that Tom and Carla separated due to his son-in-law’s alleged infidelity.
“Tom was already able to explain to Carla that there was no truth to this and he also avoided that from happening. So, there was no one-night stand according to Tom’s side,” said PJ.
PJ further argued that even if the accusations are true, he believes that Tom did not commit a mortal sin with his former partner.
“Mom, honestly speaking, we can’t consider the situation as a third party. Because, the incident was a one-night stand. So, we don’t consider it a third party. I just admit, as a man, I, way back, that happens to me too. Well, that’s pretty normal in the lives of men,” the veteran actor explained.
After the interview, Carla called him and asked why he talked about her private matters.
