Congratulations Francheska, Hannah Grace, at Claire!
“Triple tie!” This was the cry of the It’s Showtime hosts after a fierce competition of wits took place on the fourth day of “Tawag ng Tanghalan: The School Showdown Resbakbakan” this Thursday (January 9).
Francheska, a graduate of Saint Paul School of Professional Studies, first showed her talent in singing. Her rendition of Alicia Keys’ song “Fallin” had an R&B feel.
This was followed by Hannah Grace’s powerful rendition of Whitney Houston’s “Queen of the Night.” The University of St. La Salle representative received a standing ovation after her powerful performance.
Claire ended the fourth day of the TNT resbakbakan with her entertaining and skillful performance of Whitney Houston’s song “I’m Your Baby Tonight.” The University of Manila student received a standing ovation from the judges and audience after showcasing her talent on stage.
“This batch is amazing,” Vice Ganda happily praised the contestants. “You three are amazing, girl.”
“Actually, all of them did a really good job today,” dagdag ni Anne Curtis.
All the judges also gave very positive comments about the three participants. That’s why they couldn’t hold back their tears on stage.
“I’m just overwhelmed because the three of us are doing so well and I’m so proud of our performance,” Hannah said emotionally.
“I’m just super happy with our performances because we were all really nervous,” Claire said.
In the end, the It’s Showtime hosts happily announced the triple tie of the three. The three were also surprised and grateful that they were all in the “Tawag ng Tanghalan: The School Showdown” Ultimate Resbakbakan this Saturday.
