Sandro Muhlach Calls Out Rita Daniela’s Lawyer: ‘How Ironic!’

Kapuso actor Sandro Muhlach has a bold message for actress Rita Daniela’s lawyer.

Sandro Muhlach, the eldest son of veteran Filipino actor Niño Muhlach, has steadily built his career in the entertainment industry, transitioning from theater to becoming a Kapuso artist. Starting his acting journey at the age of 13, Sandro initially gained experience on the theater stage before making his mark in television.

Today, as a member of the GMA-7 network’s roster, he has achieved significant recognition in showbiz.

Recently, Sandro has been involved in one of the year’s most controversial cases in the Philippine entertainment industry. He filed charges against two independent contractors of GMA-7, Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz, alleging they had abused him in an incident that occurred last July in a hotel room in Pasay.

The details of the case have not been fully disclosed, but the allegations have raised considerable attention. In response to the case, GMA-7 announced that Nones and Cruz, who are not directly employed by the network, were placed under suspension pending further investigation. This action reflects the network’s efforts to address the issue while ensuring the integrity of its workplace environment.

Adding another layer to the case, Sandro directed strong remarks toward Attorney Maggie Abraham-Garduque, the lawyer representing both Nones and Cruz. Notably, Garduque is also the lawyer for actress Rita Daniela, who was recently involved in a separate case.

In a post on his Instagram account, @sandromuhlach, Sandro shared his agreement with Garduque’s previous statement about the difficulty that victims face when coming forward. However, he found irony in her stance, pointing out that Garduque, while advocating for one victim of assault, was also representing individuals allegedly involved in his case. Sandro’s public response highlights the complexities and emotional strain that victims often experience in high-profile cases like his.

“Completely agree with you @attymaggie, mahirap talaga mag-come forward kaya victims and survivors should never be blamed or made to feel guilty for what happened to them. But wow, how ironic, attorney, that now you’re standing with a victim of an assault. Justice will prevail!” he wrote.

As Sandro Muhlach continues to navigate this difficult chapter in his life, he remains resilient and vocal. His case underscores a larger conversation about the challenges faced by individuals in the entertainment industry and the importance of advocacy and support for those willing to speak up.
