After their engagement in 2023, actor Sam Milby admitted that he and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray have separated.

Sam made the confession to ABS-CBN News after almost a year of suspicions from fans and netizens. However, the actor said that he and his ex-girlfriend are “okay.”

He is reportedly focused on work right now.

Sam also clarified that it is not true that singer Moira Dela Torre was involved in his breakup with Catriona.

“There is no truth to it at all,” ani Sam. “Sobrang close kami before, and I guess people wanted to connect our closeness to may nangyari sa amin.”

“We are not friends anymore,” he added.

Sam and Catriona went public with their relationship in 2020. Three years later, the two became engaged.

But last year, netizens noticed that Catriona was no longer wearing her engagement ring in her posts.

Netizens and their followers became even more suspicious that there was a problem in the two’s relationship when Catriona deleted her and Sam’s engagement photos.

Following this, Cornerstone Entertainment released a statement, saying that Sam and Catriona’s relationship is facing a test.

Sam is in Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado’s movie “Everything About My Wife.”
