Director Darryl Yap’s Vincentiments released the official trailer of the Pepsi Paloma movie and announced the cinema release date.
From the time Direk Darryl announced that he would be doing a movie about the life and the tragic death of the late actress, polarizing comments have been shared on social media. Some people expressed excitement for this project but this was also criticized by others.
When the director released the movie teaser mentioning the name of veteran comedian-host Vic Sotto, another round of polarizing comments were expressed. The controversial teaser prompted Bossing Vic to bring this matter to the court.

He filed 19 counts of cyber libel against the director and a petition for a writ of habeas data. Amid the speculations that the Pepsi Paloma movie is on the verge of not being released, on January 21, Direk Darryl Yap released the trailer.
The trailer showed how Pepsi Paloma or Delia Dueñas Smith in real life started her career in the entertainment industry. Then, some clips showed her manager back then Rey dela Cruz, played by character actor Mon Confiado, when the complaint against the supposed abusers of Pepsi was filed.

The trailer also featured statements from Pepsi’s mother and brother. Early this month, Direk Darryl introduced them saying that the mother and the brother of the late actress will now speak.
